My name is Luis Aleman. I earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in 1997. I am on my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught 20 out of the 22-23 years in Early Childhood (pre-k through 2nd grade). I will be teaching 1st grade this year. I have 5 years’ experience teaching in 1st grade in Spanish and English. I have enjoyed teaching and decided I would retire as a teacher. I am enrolled in graduate school to earn a Master’s in Curriculum and instruction in Early Childhood. I have enjoyed teaching; more specifically, the early childhood grades. I think teaching children is a blessing.
I have been married 30 years. My wife has an MBA and works in that field, and is very successful. I have two daughters. My oldest daughter is a teacher and is working on a Mater’s degree. My youngest daughter is currently attending graduate school to be an Occupational Therapist. I have two wonderful grandchildren.
I am excited to start a new school year and meet my students and their parents. I enjoy reading philosophy, systematic theology, Christian apologetics, and the writing of the reformers and puritans.
