Miss Guerra is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in: Commercial Music, General Music, and a Business Composite. She has 15+ years of classically trained musical experience. Prior to working at La Fe, she began her educational career while attending UTEP as a tutor for the El Paso Independent School District. She then had the opportunity to work as an AVID tutor in the same district for three years. Upon graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso, Miss Guerra chose to continue pursuing her passion for music by sharing her wealth of knowledge by teaching music. She was thrilled to have secured her first official teaching job at La Fe Preparatory School in the Fall of 2019 as the Music Teacher for PK-6th grade. She is even more excited to be returning for her second year teaching music at La Fe.

During her free time, she enjoys to spend time with her family and her dog. She loves to keep busy and stay active by participating in a kickball city league and tennis lessons. She also enjoys baking, working out, listening to all different genres of music, playing her instruments to include: the clarinet, piano, guitar, and voice, loves to travel, and loves attending as many live concerts as she can (which currently stands at 154 live concerts attended). She is excited to continue her journey at La Fe Preparatory for the upcoming school year and continue to share her passion for music!
